Film My Design 3rd Edition Festival

Film My Design (FMD) is the first and only design-film festival in the MENA region, held biannually in Cairo, Egypt. Leveraging Egypt’s strong, long-standing connection to the film world, FMD’s mission centers on telling inspiring, engaging, and thought-provoking stories about design, architecture, and city life using film. The festival aims to cross-pollinate art and design with filmography, creating a uniquely innovative way of expanding our exposure to the global creative landscapes.

Building on two successful editions, FMD proudly presents its 3rd festival edition, scheduled for October 3-12, 2024. This edition centers on the theme “Designing Our Lives for a Better Future,” exploring how our humanity influences what and how we design everything around us.

The 10-day festival program features film screenings, discussions, masterclasses, workshops, a motion design exhibition, VR immersive experiences, and city tours, structured around three key areas of focus: Design in Living, Design in Film, and Design in Motion, along with two special programs: FMD Co-Lab and Spotlight on Palestine.
